re:you can't see around them on the freeway

What are you doing behind them in the first place? <g>

Occasionally, and only occasionally, I get sandwiched in between these behemoths, and then it can be very difficult to get out behind them. BTW, are you one of them....on your way back to the capital? <g>

re:many of the drivers have difficulty handling them and you have to worry about getting trampled

Probably because of that damned cell phone in their ear!

That and I think the turning radius. I find women particularly seem to have trouble getting in and out of places. I rented one once [not by choice of course......I'm no RFK Jr. <g>]......while cumbersome, they're not impossible.

PS: I drive a GMC Sierra Z71 4x4, extended cab. Talk about parking issues. Fortunately I only drive 10 miles to work in the morning. So I figure about 1.5 gallons per day just for commuting.

I guess you answered my question above. Actually, as big as the Sierra is, I don't think its as unwieldy as the SUV. I haven't driven a truck that size but it looks that way to me. Do you agree or do you find the Sierra more of a hassle than the SUVs?
