Our plan is a bit complicated. Insurance pays 80% of drugs and other medical expenses until the out-of-pocket deductible is exceeded, after which it pays 100% of everything. Four years ago that out-of-pocket deductible was $1000; two years go it was $3,000; now it is $5,000.

Until it is hit (and it may not be this year), the answer is about $300 a month. That's for 2 people.
