*OT*The only case I can see for a big fall is a failed US attack, something so unthinkable (imo) that even cash would be near worthless. A continued low-volume slide until bargain-hunting/short-covering reappears (like yesterday) is a more likely scenario. I believe this administration is far more inclined to deliver a total knockout blow to the Iraqis in very short order; something not allowed by the UN resolution in '91 (Hussein is in power today largely because of the UN, not in spite of).

My father and uncles fought Nazis in WWII; their stories helped turn me into a bit of a history buff. I believe Hussein is every bit the cold-blooded killer that Hitler, Stalin, Mao, et al, were and would likely far exceed them given today's weapons. I look forward, with whatever it takes, for the day the world is rid of him and his ilk.
