So, after the speech, it's not about weapons of mass destruction. It's about feeding the Iraqi people and sorta helping 'em all out.

OK. I'm in favor of helping folks.

But will we?

Have you folks, like I have, seen the nightly news reports, the 'message from Baghdad' kind of reports? You might see outdoor craftspeople selling their crafts, or the food vendors selling food, maybe even an old lamp for new workin' real hard type of vendor. And, of course, there's a hotel or few.

I don't know about you folks, but all that sure sorta looks like daily kinda life to me.

I also understand women have a higher rate of attendance than men at the university, and that health care is reasonable and available in Iraq. The real estate market is doing well, as is its stock market. But is there really a homeless problem over there? Does Saddam keep his nation on drugs (and so America, booze or otherwise)?

Yeah, there's a whole lotta daily livin goin' on over there.

Has anyone else seen this? Anybody got a sense for all of that?

All right, we've movin' in to save 'em!

Yes, save them from Saddam's dictatorial rule. Does anyone really think his dictatorial rule is any different than anybody else's dictatorial rule? If the dictator is in America's pocket, or, more accurately, helping out America's pocket, does this a better dictator make?

That Saddam's political enemies are treated severely, that spies probably live all over the place and that the dictator's picture is plastered all over town is not all that unusual for a dictator. Is it?

And, as usual, like most dictators, most of the wealth trickles to the top. And just to keep things straight, everyone in check, the dictator for always has to make a public appearance and shoot a gun in the air, or hold one anyway. And then there are all of the people around him who look just like him. Hey, how about that!?!

But, as for the trickle up, wait a minute! Isn't there another place on earth that has a similar movement for wealth? Ah, let's not get distracted. Back to point.

OK, so we're movin' in to save the Iraqi people.

Great idea!

Let's help 'em all out.

Right on!!!

OK, so there's 22 million of 'em and 42 percent of 'em are under the age of 15. Have we yet struck some foreign assistance with Toys R' Us? We gonna bring over some little league baseball equipment and pee wee football equipment? When we liberate, instead of candy bars, can we give them soccer balls?

Whatever we're gonna do, we're gonna help them. That's what Bush said. I saw him. He was on television tonight, speaking before the American Enterprise Institute. Nice folk them enterprise people!

All right, let's get this done. So all of those Iraqi citizens who we're gonna help each have family, friends and neighbors. And I bet they love and like each other. Just like the Americans! You bet!!!

Do you really think they're gonna like us when we begin this war--in order to help them, of course--and when this war causes probably each one of those people to lose a family member, a friend or a neighbor or few? That these family members, friends and neighbors are gonna die because of the Americans?

President Bush? Go back to baseball and play with trickle-up salaries. Please don't try to help the poor folk. You can't. Why? 'Cause it's not in your blood and you simply don't understand.

Nice speech though. Hey, did everyone hear everyone clap and did you see him smile when they did? Wow, those were great moments. It's too bad that those who clapped don't understand either.

Oh well, I'm done.
