Expensive? As compared to what? Death by a hijacked plane, biological agent, dirty nuke or chemical weapon is much less expensive than living. A couple of airliners can take down a $2 billion building and 3,000 lives? Hey, that's a bargain. I heard WWII was kind of expensive, too. Maybe we should've just ignored that Adolph guy...at least France and Germany would be even more united today than they already are--MK--
