Interesting stuff
I am reading the book "The House of Morgan" by Ron Chernow
In the book it says the FED was created after JP Morgan saved the day during the 1907 crash. It seems there were booms and busts every 10 years up to the time the Fed was created.
Lots of parallels between the railroad boom and internet in the book also.
