Though, as you will probably be able to see from this link, it's a fast growth rate. 3gtoday.com What chicken and egg dilemma do you mean? There is no chicken and egg dilemma in the CDMA world. With GSM1x, QUALCOMM is removing the chicken and egg dilemma in the GSM world [where there are no 3G subscribers, so nobody is building networks, which would be difficult to do anyway because W-CDMA doesn't work well enough to sell]. You must be starting to realize that QUALCOMM is saving the world. Isn't it marvellous? If there's anything else you don't understand, feel free to ask. Think about what cdma2000/W-CDMA/GSM/802.11/ multi-mode, multi-band, radioOne phones will mean for subscribers to get an idea of the stupendously vast opportunity opening before your eyes.
