Remember PartyLine said the newly-liberated nations in eastern Europe supported action only with UN authorization? THis was in response to my statement that the former SOviet satellites in eastern Europe backed the US. In the link I posted to you, go to FACT FILE Broad range of views How the Security Council feels about Iraq and click on Bulgaria (the only eastern European nation listed there). This is what it says about Bulgaria: Bulgaria: Indicated it would support U.S.-led military intervention without a Security Council authorization. So much for that theory.
