Bush economic Chief resigns: story.news.yahoo.com

Obviously there is more to this resignation than meets the eye: Hubbard was running further and further afoul of Bush and his old crony (corny?) Reagan era advisors on the exploding deficit and tax cut issues. No decent conservative Republican can abide by an administration that so arrogantly ignores the concept of a somewhat balanced budget. Bush is exploding the deficit through a tremendous expansion of military ventures overseas while the economy is still struggling to recover . . feebly at best. Even before the spending on military escapades really gets in high gear, the American economy is straining under the weight of the collapsed telecommunications and Internet related spending and stock market bubbles. Bush, the simpleton that he is, doesn't understand that "to everything there is a season" the stupid idiot is quickly eroding whatever confidence there was in economic recovery and instead is preparing to spend over $100 billion on a war that could be delayed until the economy can more easily stand the strain or avoid it altogether. Bush insists on clubbing the poor economy and American businessmen over their heads with the huge costs of the war machine and rebuilding of Iraq, Afghanistan, N. Korea, in God's name who knows where in the World next?

Hub's resignation was a ruse imo - he was probably kicked out because he would not support Bush on expanding the deficit through tax cuts and higher military spending at the same time. What's next "King Bush"?
