Marc Faber declared that the U.S. a year ago the new Roman Empire since the U.S. has the most singular power advantage since the Roman Empire and as they have also decided to be the the Roman Empire and then proceeded to explain WHY our economy at the home zone of this Empire will collapse into rampant inflation and bread and circuses exactly as Rome did. We will once again be a society of a small disgustingly rich class (the Patricians) and then the groveling masses (the Plebians/the Plebs). No wonder the neo-conservatives Mailer speaks of covet such a scenario. Rome in essence was a perfect Fascist Society. Max
