My guess, just a guess.

Dow needs to continue to set up for a nice post iraq rally. In doing so it needs to go down enough that we see some major volume down days. Dollar will go with it movin gold up until the invasion when gold sells off strong while dow/s&p give a nice relief rally and gold gives up the major down we been expecting.
