What does VRSN charge to renew a domain?

I thought their rates were a little high...

But now I guess it depends upon the registrar that the transfer request comes from. When I attempted to transfer several domains to another registrar, Verisign tried to talk me out, with a counter-offer. I guess their $35 fee becomes negotiable when they realize they are about to lose you.

Doing a little modification with the URL they e-mailed me in response to my NEW registrars legitimate transfer request, it became apparent that their rates are whatever the hell you'll pay...
