Metavante Renews Financial Technology Contracts

MILWAUKEE, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Metavante® Corporation, the financial technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (NYSE: MI - News), today announced multi-year contract renewals for its comprehensive suite of bank outsourcing solutions with numerous clients. In 2002, Metavante had a total of 35 long-term contract renewals with banks that will continue to receive products and services from the Metavante comprehensive suite of bank outsourcing solutions.

Some of the key clients to renew contracts during the third and fourth quarter of 2002 include the following financial institutions; listed by region:

-- Southeastern region: Sarasota Bank, Sarasota, Fla.; Community National Bank of Sarasota County, Venice, Fla.; BankAtlantic, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Mellon United National Bank, Miami.

-- Eastern region: Salem Five, Salem, Mass.

-- Midwestern region: Portage County Bancshares, Almond, Wis.; Bank of Sun Prairie, Sun Prairie, Wis.; Calumet County Bank, Brillion, Wis.; The First State Bank, New London, Wis.; Peshtigo National Bank, Peshtigo, Wis.; Wood County National Bank, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; Lasco Development Corporation, Marquette, Mich.; and Iowa First Bancshares Corp., Muscatine, Iowa.
