If we apply Fibs to days, what happens when we apply them to years?

Well, we had a low in 1982. It's 2003. 21-years. That's a Fib number. Next Fib is 2016. This could be the year of the bear market low if the fib cycles are operative.

We had a low in 1990 also. It's 2003. 13-years. That's a Fib number. Next Fib is 2010. This is also pointing to 2003 as being the year for a low.

Do the years work as Fibs? It appears they may. The 1987 low was a Fib (5-years off 1982). The 1990 low was also a Fib (8-years off 1982).

The 1982 low followed the 1974 low, which was 8-years, a fib.

People talk about the 4-year cycle, but what we may actually be seeing is a fibonacci cycle at work.

The fibs appear to be pointing to the October 2002 lows being taken out on all indices this year.
