If there is evidence that these nations have been supporters of state-sponsored terrorism, then the odds are great they will be told to reform or fall...

You seem to equate illegitimate authoritarian governments with "countries".. And on that we obviously differ..

In my opinion, the majority of people living in these countries are nothing better than slaves of the power elite who rule over them. Their government is accountable to them only when threatened with revolt and rebellion..

Thus overthrowing these illegitimate governments is not something I show any major concern about.. Legitimate governments, meaning through free and fair opposed elections, are seldom, if ever, the target of another democracy.

The "empire" is NOT the US.. Because the US is a democracy. Very few empires have ever been anything other than totalitarian/authoritarian.

But nice try with trying to twist definitions...

Btw, isn't Monaco a principality?? That's not a democratic government, now is it??
