Sorry, I did make a mistake on the first number,
which should have been 76% but the rest were correct.

Last year looks about like this:

1. Jewelry = 2700mt, 76.06%
2. Covering Hedges = 340mt, 9.58%
3. Investment/Hoarding = 250mt, 7.04%
4. Electronic = 200mt, 5.63%
5. Coins = 60mt, 1.69%

I guess I shouldn't tell you I rounded a few of the other numbers ;)
I think hedge covering was 342mt and coins were 63mt,
but I'm not at home and do not have access to my exact data.

Anyway, the point of the post (if you were interested) was jewlery is the BIG DOG and all the other uses are little barking puppies.
Goldbugs get distracted by the noise of the barking puppies (i.e. Japanese investment up, and miners covering hedges) and miss the big picture (jewelry demand in India plummets)
