He was saying that such a state affairs cannot continue, and in effect, "God help us." << I am ready to admit that Jefferson could have been a deist, what you people totally deny is that he was only ONE of many founders.>> So first you offer a bogus quote claiming that Jefferson was a Christian himself (never displaying the honor or decency to concede your quote was a fraud) and now you want to change the subject to the other founding fathers? That's pathetic. Are you aware of the Treaty of Tripoli which says among other things: "As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion" And having been ratified by the Senate and signed by Washington is, according to our Constitution, the supreme law of the land?
