If you ever get ripped off or badly damaged by a corporation (or doctor God forbid) you'll know that a litigator is your only hope of justice and the corporation holds most of the cards. Bush's moves to vilify "trial lawyers" so the little guy has less protection is wrong. There are good ones and bad ones, just as there are good and bad in every field, including doctors and politicians. The problem is not the field it's just certain individuals and cases. But mostly it's all about campaign contributions. Bush gets money from the type of companies that are sued by litigators. The Democrats get money from lawyers. It's really a ridiculous split and gives us all a warped sense of reality.
