Expect Bush poll numbers to keep dropping. Despite virtual control of the media. Despite no opponent yet from the Democrats. Despite a war mode which has largely kept domestic failures out of the news. Despite the dishonest right-wing cacophony repeating over and over "you're anti-America if you're anti-Bush" and "you blame America first and side with our enemies if you criticize Bush" even going so far as to call anyone for peace "evil". Since when are people for peace "evil"? I think they have it backwards. Though I am somewhere in the middle myself.

By 2004, who knows exactly but I predict it will either be as close as 2000 or Kerry will beat Bush by a fairly comfortable margin. Why? The economy, stupid, plus the public just finally getting sick of war for war's sake, or for indirect revenge for 9-11's sake. And asking themselves if they were better off four years ago. What could change this? Al Qaida could put Bush back in power with another big attack prior to the elections. Ironically, Al Qaida has been Bush's best friend. His approval ratins would be scraping bottom by now if not for 9-11. Very-very ironic.
