It doesn't matter. Gallon for gallon $2 for gas verses wine or milk is still a good deal. You get a lot of work out of a $2 gallon of gas - work that can serve ten people at a time. Wine gives pleasure, but gallon for gallon, it requires a much greater expenditure than gas to serve the same amount of people.
