Doug, I am almost convinced by your analysis!
Obviously you conclude that Compaq and IBM can not
implement such a system in years. I hold my belief
that the big guys can do that after six months! Time
will tell, so we may retire the debate on this issue for now. :)

About pricing, I have no opinions on tomorrow's price
or the one after tomorrows. It is hard enough to track
long and shorts of various stocks, let alone predicting
every daily move of one stock. Selling mania is what I
like to do and seems to be working all the time. Why not
profit both ways?

You are a relatively rational bull (maybe because you did
not buy it early enough. :)) Some other bull are
so "smart" as to declare earnings increase 100% early next
year. Even the experts on Wall Street have not said that.
This is my signal of what a climax look like.
