Well yeah. I'm pretty friggin' fearless when it comes to wine. I have no problem at all showing my ignorance. You know why? Because I sincerely don't care what anyone thinks about it - not at friggin' all. I'm looking for the experience, the pleasure of the thing - and wine is just about one of the most pleasurable things God has ever given mankind. It just ain't worth fooling around putting on airs about it. Time is a wastin'. So if I share my thinking and someone comes along to suggest more knowledge to me, I'm gonna take it and not miss a friggin' beat. I drink wines pretty frequently - maybe a glass with lunch and a glass with dinner each day about. You don't just drink wine simply because its liquid to wash down your food. It is an experience. When I drink a good wine, its like I go on a dang journey to some wonderful place and have a wonderful time there. A cheap wine can really can ruin the whole dang thing. I am no snob, but a decent wine ain't that expensive. If you are gonna do it, then dangit just do it right or else drink water.
