Would you like to make a comparison of the profits that oil companies that do all the work make and the profits the government gets on each gallon of gas sold. Would you then like to see where the money goes? Just what do you think the oil companies squeeze out of the gallon of gas. A few cents. And the government 30 times that amount. So would you as a consumer be better off if the oil companies made no money or if the government shrunk in 1/2 and didn't tax oil ?
Would you as a consumer like to see the government just for once try to do what every family and business in this country is doing. CUT COSTS.
Only government automatically increases its budget every year. Will it ever end?
Gray Davis faced with releasing violent prisoners back on the street and eliminating teachers or cutting the jobs of newly hired pencil pushers is going to do what?

You got it. Pencil Pushers are never fired.
