Chinton,

Time will tell. We could also take control of the oil fields, occupy that territory and protect them with our forces, and lay economic seige to Saddam and Iraq, hopefully causing upheaval within his ranks and within the population. Our troops will become an occupational force, guarding the oil that fuels our economy, as well as go from oil in euros to oil in dollars. We will then be playing in the OPEC sandbox...From that point on, our forces will be targets of aggression, and the fighting will go on for a long while, but the oil is ours....Of course, we could just go in and kill, kill, kill...murdering innocent Iraqis in front of a world that opposes war...which one is it going to be?
