I see your points... and I again, agree.... so (at least from the investment point of view)... nimbleness will have to be the way to achieve any form of "progress" and if patience and a long term horizon is possible, out of that rubble you pointed out, some reasonable opportunities may come out... for one... companies/countries that are closely connected to resources (as China will need them)... could be one form of "bet"
