You like the fact that the world is splintering up. No, I don't. But I like the fact that the current administration has the gumption to DEAL with these problems rather than kicking the can down the road, where the problems just get bigger. The administration isn't dealing with anything. If it were, it have us on an oil diet. Our entire nation would be committed to cutting our oil consumption in half. Instead we going to Iraq because of the oil but not in the way some accuse us. What we are doing is making sure that there is stability in the region so that our oil diet isn't jeopardized. So that our pig diet of slurping all the loose oil there is in the world remains in place. That's not gumption; that's not learning what we need to learn; that's taking the easy way out. We are going after a third rate power that doesn't have any WMD to speak of. Let me repeat for your blocked ears.........doesn't have any WMD to speak of. We are going to cream a country that has a rag tag, poorly equipped military; that has a dictator who is despised by all which insures no one will come to his defense. And that's all wrapped in a tinselly GOP ribbon with the words neatly stenciled into it.......We Care About Democracy and the Iraqi People! No one [of consequence] is fooled; no one [of consequence] thinks it takes gumption; no one [of consequence] thinks it takes big balls. And you know what, O Wise One, we're not going to get away with it. This is an immoral war fought for the wrong reasons because we have weak and arrogant leaders. ted ted
