KT, look at this chart for BR. It is a major producer of natural gas and it really has not gone anywhere much since it abruptly doubled about 14 years ago. (I can't seem to pull up any earlier charts). finance.yahoo.com 1968-1982: another fourteen-year period when a lot of things went nowhere. I think this may be the "long term" moment for some of these energy stocks.
