easy 1. You don't make statements like "we're going it alone"... even if you think it- you act like the UN really matters (even if it doesn't) and form a consensus before you announce to the world there will be war. 2. You don't allow your press people to make statements like "it only takes one bullet" and overtly imply assassination of a tyrant head of state is "ok with you".. this puts your diplomacy on the same level as the tyrants and is shocking to the world at large (even though everybody knows the US has backed coups and assassinations in the past) 3. You wait to build up your troops until you are really ready to go. Otherwise, the troops are out there in the region for large amts of time at great expense and this grinds on the morale... not to mention the weather issues. Stuff like that, these are my issues with Bush.
