I think your perception about how the world really feels about this is being overly influenced by outspoken minorities.

I think you're seeing reality as Chirac comes under pressure in his own country for threatening the relevance of the UN. Note that his own critics are not pointing fingers at Bush, but at Chirac.

Bush has stayed the course, and the left is quickly running out of venom.
