UN resolution 1441 called for Iraq to disarm, and to comply with UN weapons inspectors. It didn't call for Iraq to play, er, "hide the missile." It didn't call for Iraq to mislead the inspectors, then begrudgingly concede inches of turf at a time, just to prolong the bombs from falling. It called for disarmament, and open access for inspectors.
