The fact that scott was even considered for exemption demonstrates the double standard (albeit subtle one) exercised here.

The fact that johnm characterizes scott's posts as some sort of selfless mission that "need to be read" demonstrates a "less subtle one" (how's that for nuance?).

Not that it matters... but may I say post the articles, post the opinions of the articles, post the opinions of the opinions of the articles.

Just lose much of the nuance.

And, if loss of nuance crosses over into the impolite, expect to be moderated*.

* I speak from experience.
