Will the pubs accept the chits against my beer bill, as they do these No No No Yes No cheques?

[just kidding, i'm a taxpayer not a taxtaker, always have been outside one year in the early seventies when i learned the NNNYN chant while building a house]

Lino, they've got you bullshitted, this pine lobby .... you are accepting their lies as gospel and valid, when they are not .... i share your general distaste for our Natural Ruling Party, by the way, and many of the specific criticisms of its policies voiced here .... but this does not mean i am eager to hand over title to the land of our fathers to some bunch of fascista corruptos dominating a foreign capital, either .... at any given time we have multiple options, not ever a choice of only two black and white ones ... and a good thing too, because the issues with which we are faced are often far from black and white, rather they tend to be quite complex

This one is not complex, this issue of domination by the Commerzwaffe through an imposed one-way 'free trade' on British Columbia ..... it is plainly wrong - either the US wants free trade with us, or they don't, it's that simple .... the timberland of this province belongs to us the citizens, and if that tenure raises envy in other quarters then that envy is their problem not ours .... all their phony diddling with figures in support of their attack on us can be seen though by anyone who looks objectively at the facts - we produce better wood because we have, through an accident of geography alone, better timber-growing land, and more of it per capita [though still much less than there is in the US] ... currency exchange rates and relative costs due to distance and/or topography and/or reforestation commitments explain quite adequately any variance in the value of wood on the stump

There are a number of senators - republican senators - down there who support our free-trade side in this issue ... reflect that extra dollars squeezed out of builders and homeowners down there while the pine lobby keeps the market distorted with this bullshit are harming more numbers of US nationals than of british columbians ... though each to a lesser degree, that is also true, and is a major cause of ignorance there in regards to the issue in general

If you can object to hypocrisy in Ottawa, as we see you love to, then why not in Washington, or Whitehall, or Timbucfreakintoo? .... it's not about phoney platitudes, and it's not about any -isms, it's about filthy politics that happens to be coming this time from DC

... punto ... got to go now ... cheers
