We made mistakes in Vietnam -- it is not unpatriotic to point them out. We are making mistakes now -- it is not unpatriotic to point them out. Mistakes cost American lives. Hiding from the truth does not change the truth -- and th truth is we got way off course last year when Cheney pushed regime change on center stage for our foreign policy.
