The position of France, Germany, and Russia in this matter is already fatally compromised BY THEIR OWN ECONOMIC INTERESTS- -exactly the crime you accuse the US of. Why are they not held to the same standard in judging their opposition? Eh? Fair enough. What you say is entirely true. No doubt, all of those countries are probably opposing and trying to delay our takeover of Iraq, because they are trying to perserve their own business dealings and economic ties with Iraq. This is a high stakes game of poker between some of the great powers in the world. I'm sure all of those countries have alterior motives for why they are opposing and trying to throw roadblocks in front of our attack on Iraq. Of course, since the U.S. is the greatest power in the world, we will most likely prevail.
