Very interesting, Brumar. Did you note, however, that Iran still insists that the US not invade? Iran logically thinks it will be next once the US gains the military foothold in Iraq and begins pouring even more US troops into the region.

Thus, my fear that Iran, possibly even Syria, will reinforce Baghdad should the US-Brit forces have it in a state of siege. This combo team up would pit about one million against our 200 thousand, not to mention a whole lot of missles, tanks, planes and artilliary, etc. (chemicals maybe?) Do you think they might deem the two-member coalition force sitting in the desert as vulunerable?

The situation could turn into Nuke City, don't you think?
