Saddam has been largely emasculated already, stuck in a box. Where he can adventure from there is not very far. Bush talks as though Saddam is going to take over the Middle East. The world knows greater powers esp the US would never let that happen again. Saddam should be disarmed, but why waste hundreds of billions at this point. Our economy is in bad shape and Bush's war is a big part of the reason. Now we're in a pickle, because Bush not only has Saddam in a corner he has us in the corner with him. So I guess Bush just ought to get the whole ill-conceived war over with while we pray for no major mess as a result. And aren't you sick of this whole subject? God, we have more important things to worry about, which we need our allies for. And so many better uses for those hundreds of billions which are pure debt to us now.
