"The verses you quoted do indeed affirm that Christ
was resurrected in the same body He was crucified in.
Greg - you are defending a point to which you and all
preterist agree.
The point in question is this....
Is Christ still in that physical body even now?

You can't have it both ways Brian either the resurrection was physical or it was not. You claim it was physical? "we shall be like Him" Physical glorified bodies!

"1 John 3:2 does not prove anything concerning the TIMING
but it does reveal something concerning the NATURE
of the resurrection.
"

The nature of the resurrected body of Christ was physical Brian, you already conceded that point. Does 1 john 3;2 claim that nature was altered at some point? NO! If the verses you quote fail to demonstrate what you claim they do, that's not my fault.

"It's all future Brian" I was simply referring to the tense of the words "Will, Shall, Not yet" Are you now agreeing the resurrection is future? This verse is simply saying when we are resurrected we will receive the same kind of glorified physical body that Christ has.

"The point in question is this....
Is Christ still in that physical body even now?
"

Where do you see the teaching that Christ's Physical body underwent some transition from physical to non-physical in nature? Luke 24:39
"Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have." Christ claims his resurrected body is flesh and bone. Deny that and you deny Christ

"Greg - in my past couple of posts to you I was addressing your outright contempt for those who deny a 'physical' resurrection as related to believers."

I said nothing personal Brian it's the heretical position I'm objecting to. As far as me advocating an inquisition, your being illogical. If you want to deny the Gospel claim to the physical resurrection of Christ's body that is your choice. I don't have to accept that as a valid disagreement and I won't. You will have to face God all by yourself Brian as will I.
