Glad to see the US is helping out. Hopefully, they can give more assistance to Pak as they're steadfast cooperation deserves it. Imho, a true American ally.

Pakistan got $890 million reward for its role against terror

ISLAMABAD, March 01 (Online): Pakistan received $ 890 million direct aid from the United States, European Union, Japan and Saudi Arabia on its role as the front line state in the international war against terrorism after the 9/11 incidents.

This was stated by Shaukat Aziz, the advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance while replying to different questions during the question hour session in the National Assembly here on Friday.

Replying to a question by Syed Naveed Qamar, he said the United Stats so far has rescheduled $ 1 billion loans of Pakistan in appreciation of its role in the fight against terrorism. Similarly many other countries also have rescheduled $ 8 billion loans.
