No, I have no great insights into Turkey. I just heard on the BBC that the PM had not been campaigning very hard for this vote. If this was a display of resentment - all right, you'll get your bases, but very grudgingly after you pay me off but good - he's now going to find it a costly move. The Bush administration must be blowing a gasket right now. As I said before, we can quickly develop some new Kurdish best friends. I expect to see the Turkish PM doing some emergency hustling. I don't worry about OPEC. They know they are in no position to do anything but mope.
