You seem to have changed subjects from the gassings in Iraq to now suddenly bashing the UN....

My only comment on those cases you thought the UN was derelict is this....where where all the other nations of the world including the US..... The China thing was civil war and no one in the world, including us was going to take on the USSR or China. Ditto for Poland, Yugoslavia (under Tito). Idi Amin I don't know what he did in the way of genocide. Pol Pot we certainly wouldn't get involved with after our fiasco in Viet Nam.... Rwanda, IMO, is the biggest sin of Clinton's admin....At least the French and Danes had troops there to try and help.. And I think after a sluggish start the UN did a fine job in Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo....Mostly led by Clinton...

Now, back to the gassing in Iraq....that occured with gases supplied by us and during the Bush Sr. admin....could that be why Jr. does want to wave that story around????
