You realize evil is relative. What we call evil other people find good, and vice versa. Our "freedom fighters," may be some other man's torturer. Our "Allies" are often considered murderous dictators by their own people. Like Saddam, our former good buddy. Evil is whatever you (or I, or anyone) say it is, and that makes it a worthless term.
