<< What we call evil other people find good, and vice versa. >> Well, let's take a few examples. For instance. The rape of children. Americans find it evil. What's your view? How about chopping off someone's hands for stealing? Americans find that evil. How about you? How about the deliberate mass murders of others? Saddam would not consider it evil, but Americans do. What about you? << Our "Allies" are often considered murderous dictators by their own people. Like Saddam, our former good buddy. >> This is disingenuous on your part. You know that America has to play with the cards that are dealt. We didn't pick Saddam to run Iraq. In fact, we didn't pick any of the Arab leaders, unfortunately. But, we have to deal with them. Most of us realize what evil is. Evil usually includes the brutal, murder of people, in order to steal their possessions, or to rule them, or out of enjoyment, or to destroy them, when they are not a threat to anyone else. It is a shame that you have problems understanding what is evil. |
