I wouldn't give it to them. They have an self preservation interest in this too as countless refugees will be pouring over their border in the event of war. I fairly tired of having our pockets picked even when an action would be beneficial to another country. Some of the objectors to war have very valid points about how much money we ship to many of these countries. I don't think we should bankrupt our own society to buy security. I don't remember the exact totals on a per person basis that it costs the US in foreign aid but I think its rather large. Just having us as a friend saves most countries a lot of defense budget money. If thats not enough then I say let them have to fund a military budget like we do for a few years and maybe they will see the error of their ways
