I've said on more than on occasion that I don't buy into the common foe theory when it comes to supplying people with technology. I think that our support of Saddam in the 80's was reckless. The problem is we can't go back and fix it now....all we can do is remember it in the future. I remember when I heard we cut a deal with Pakistan and I said to my wife "have we learned anything from the past"? So we agree on that level.

I'm not sure that should be a factor in whether or not we enforce this resolution. Is that selective enforcement? Maybe. Is there good cause for it? I think so
