SystemWizard competition, lack of.../product assessment

I think that there is good reason to believe SYSF management when they claim that SystemWizard has no true competitors.

IMHO, as someone who knows far more about computer software than stocks:

They are in an excellent position with this product: (credible company with appropriate industry contacts; and first off the block with a credible product). The value of a market lead in this type of product is enormous and could, if done well, even lead to a monopoly in this market. Do not confuse SysWiz with a yet another Word processing program. The real value in the whole Call Avoidance issue it the number of calls avoided. Even assuming equivalent problem solving agents, the quantity of the solution scenarios will determine the effectiveness of the product. In this, SysWiz, as first, with some very nice initial problem databases, has a very good head start. Once a company goes with SysWiz, there will be a significant hurdle to change over to the competition. If others intend to enter this marketplace, it must be real soon. It will be very difficult to catch SysWiz once they reach critical mass. (not there yet, but that is what the longs must be counting on. Count me in.)

Frankly, I was pleasantly impressed with the overall architecture that they used for the SystemWizard. Product-wise, I think they have a done lot of things right.

Andrew, as for using Artificial Intelligence, "AI", in this product. I sincerely hope not, and there is no mention of that word in the limited SystemSoft literature that I have read. I haven't seen "AI-like" either, though that would be more appropriate. The bloom is off that AI word, and the simple fact is that, in my understanding, the problems that SysWiz is targeting are not the brain-busters. AI would provide a solution along the lines of being 100% correct 94% of the time (don't ask what happens the other 6% of the time). The SysWiz appears to concentrate on the problems which have known/knowable/provable solutions. The targets that I have seen are 20% at your PC and an additional 10%, for a total of 30% when you link up the remote server. These numbers are nothing to be ashamed of. In my opinion these are very credible numbers.

As for PTEC, my lone post so far in the PTEC Superiority over SYSF will attest that I find it absurd to compare these two any longer. IMHO again, I suspect that if we do see a credible competitor to SystemWizard it will come from somewhere in the software sector, not firmware. I'm no fan of Symantec, but it could only be a company like that which would have the opportunity to contest this market. Who-ever, they must do it soon or leave this market to SYSF.
