I know what potential underlying issues there are for our Government wanting to take action. I'm wondering if other people are looking at what motives (other than peace) the French and Russians may have up their sleeve. Certainly you're not implying our Government is the only one looking out for its best interest. I could go on and on with the post you left me but it serves to useful purpose. You basically accused my of having no principles, supporting torture and showing contempt for the American people. None of that is true. I've tried not to place objectors to the war in a faction. We all have lives that we live in public. I know many people who think the war is a bad idea and they know I think it may be our only option. Not 1 of them has accused me of lacking principles or supporting torture. I don't call that Utopia....I call it respectful discussion
