That is one hell of a good post.

I would say that I believe Iraq is working towards the ability to strike outside the region and that concerns me. It also concerns me that Saudi Arabia (while it claims to be our friend) was actually the culture that fostered most of the people involved in 9/11. So while there is merit in what you say about not disrupting the region there is also merit in being concerned based on what has transpired. The hard part (and this what we're discussing) is what to do about it. I don't know the right path and you don't either otherwise you and I would be running the show. The cool thing is that even though our status is that of mere lemmings we can openly discuss the issue and not be killed for our views. We also know that we may disagree but that our desire is the same in the sense that we hope for the best for our country
