Chris, It is a popular thing to call Bush a moron, however, he is not a moron at all. He seems to make small errors in speech from time to time, and these get siezed upon. I make those same errors of speech and it makes no waves, as I am just a working stiff. By and large he is so populare because he has that feel of the common man, like Reagan. Now Reagan was not nearly as smart as Bush. Reagan knew this, but he also selected smart people to do stuff for him. Clinton was very smart, and we all know what a sexist SOB he was. Carter was also very smart, but he felt he was so smart that he micr-managed everyone, and so lacked effectiveness. bill
