Wars should be SMART not reckless. This war will be twice as hard without Turkey. This is obvious. Quit listening to the chickenhawks crying for war. It's not their lives on the line. To invade now we'd have to bring 200,000 men and armor up from the south and Saddam could mass all his nasty obstacles in their path. It would not be pretty. With Turkey we could have pincered Saddam to death quickly. But no more. All in all, a messy situation.

Without 100,000 allied forces and an organized resistence force to help we're in a pickle. 90% of Turks dont want this war. I guess they dont feel so threatened by Saddam. So why should we be?
