The bad guy threatens and injures your family. You subdue him, tie him up, and then slit his throat. You say fair enough ? The courts would say you're a murderer, too. So you don't slit his throat. You hand him over to the courts and they do the dirty work. Certainly pre-meditated. What's the difference ? If justice is revenge, it has been served. That is the purpose of capital punishment - to enable the wronged to have their revenge. Anyway, regarding "Prolife" your position (probably pro-capital punishment) is 100% consistent with the opinions of the overt "pro-lifers" I know. -wg
